Active Chilled Beams
The Royal Children's Hospital (RCH), located in Parkville north of Melbourne's central business district, was established circa 1870 due to serious concerns about infant mortality in Melbourne at the time.
The Victorian State Government decided in 2005 to build a new 340 bed centre, situated adjacent to its current site in Parkville. The Children's hospital is part of the Victoria's Governments investment into key healthcare facilities with FTF Group® also supplying the Victorian Heart Hospital in Monash.
FTF Group® supplied the childrens hospital with their range of Active Chilled Beams, providing building occupants with high levels of cooling and Thermal Comfort.
