FTF Group® supply Radiant Heating Panels to Ocean County Courthouse (West Wing)

Ocean County Courthouse

FTF Group's Modula Ceiling Recessed PC-SP (Standard Performance) Radiant Heating Panels were the chosen solution to be installed inside the recently renovated West Wing of the Toms River Ocean County Courthouse in the state of New Jersey.

The renovated West Wing of the courthouse, originally built in 1851, is part of a wider $56.8 Million (USD) investment over two years into the county's social services and general administrative facilities, which will also see the construction of a new administrative complex that will replace the current outdated office park currently home to six county departments.

A new 121,000 (square foot) three-storey building will be the center point of the new complex, with the building housing the country's Medical Examiner Office, the county superintendent of Schools, and the PIC (Private Industry Council).

In total Ocean County will save over $3 Million (USD) a year in lease payments and lower maintenance costs currently being spent on the 30/40-year-old buildings.

Modula Radiant Heating Panel

The West Wing of the courthouse was supplied through our local representative BJ Terroni, to provide an unobtrusive heating solution with the PC-SP Modula Radiant Heating Panels being installed recessed into the ceiling above, providing building occupants with high levels of Thermal Comfort and a high heating capacity.

Extruded aluminum heat exchanger pipe seats are fully bonded to the panel, with the copper heat coils then inserted into the pipe seats for excellent heat transfer characteristics.

These 15mm copper coils are produced in-house at FTF Group's UK technical facility on a full CNC Serpentine Bend Machine from thousand-meter drums of copper to make the heating coils without any joints whatsoever, therefore safeguarding against the risk of leakage.

Due to the Heating Panel having no moving parts, the product has a long-life expectancy in excess of 25 years. At the end of its long product life, the radiant panel can be fully recycled due to its construction materials.
